“One day I will find the right words. And they would be simple”
- Jack Kerouac, The Dharma Bums

Like how the water flows in the river, thoughts come endlessly and constantly. These are like the birds that fly a distant mile. Thoughts are each and every note which harmonizes to come up with a good song. Thoughts are simply a great representation that we are alive.

There are a lot of stories to be told while we are breathing. Our eyes and ears are widely open to everything that is around us. Then, we wonder and wonder until we finally end up into having a good story to be told.
But just as a how a beautifully crafted scrapbook with empty pages is, a great story will never really be great without the right words to express those wonderful thoughts that a person has.

There are secrets to achieving one greatly written story:

Write from the heart

Write everything that you feel about a certain topic. Feel every word that put in and don’t just get tangled with your usual vocabulary. There is a difference between active and passive writing. Active writing, is when you put passion into the words you behold.

Play with words

Do not be afraid to experiment on new words or use a lot of adjectives. Let your imagination play and eventually, words will come crashing in like those armies from the other clan.

Talk to your audience

When you write, you have to know your audience. Do not just write for yourself, rather, write for them. Have one good voice so that your audience will be captivated by your story.

Cause and effect are faithful lovers

People would love to ask what is and then what happens next? Thus, for every cause in the story, there is always an effect that your audience look forward to.

Keep it simple

Yeah, I may have told you about playing with words. But in writing, remember that content is always the king, and presentation is your prince. Presentation means how you deliver or write your story. So let the flowering words blossom, but never exhaust your main thought. Stick to your story. Make it 40 percent amusing but 60 percent believable. So just keep it simple so as not to be apart from your audience.

These are just some of the many secrets towards achieving a greatly written story.
